This project particularly struck a chord with me.

Not only did I find the creative approach to be super compelling, but the Children’s Hospital of Colorado holds a very special place in my heart. My mother is a pediatric physical therapist, and worked at CHCO many years ago.

I grew up in Colorado, and while my home base is now NYC, I love to shoot in Colorado and have lots of local shoot resources if that’s where the campaign will be shot.

From a creative point of view, this campaign has so many fun things to explore! I love the use of projections combined with set design utilizing simple geometric shapes. It give us such a great creative sandbox to play in. It also puts us into a world that we can easily further play up in post production.

As someone whose work straddles the world of still imagery and motion, I feel like this campaign is such a great match for what I do. I’m so excited to talk even more about your creative direction, and for the potential to collaborate with you on this.

ABOUT ME

I studied journalism at the University of Colorado, and after graduating I moved to New York where I got started working as a photo assistant. Today I shoot for publications like the New York Times and brands like Cadillac, Google, Stella Artois, Izze and Betty Buzz.

I live with my wife and six year old daughter in Bed-stuy, Brooklyn. When I'm not hanging with the family I can be found scouring used book shops for the next addition to my photo book collection, or on a surfboard at Rockaway beach.
