Portfolio For furniture Brand X

Hi, I'm Jake, a photographer and director based in NYC.

Thanks for letting me work with you on this exciting project! Even though I’ve only gotten a few basic details, I’ve picked out some of my past work that I think will resonate with this one.

To start, I’m sharing the project above 👆 that I worked on for Lippincott, an ad agency. They wanted to show off their team and connect their work to the lively culture of New York City.

Rothys X Feed

This video, which I directed for a collaboration between Rothy's and Feed, shows their process from design to manufacturing.

It includes many of the elements references in your creative brief like close-up and wide shots of their products and factories, interviews with people involved in the process, and scenes from different locations.

Drone Footage

I love the ide of making a drone video of the showroom, and I’m excited to hear more about the space.

These videos were made by skilled drone pilots I know, and we can hire one of them to help with this project.

BGB

These videos, which I shot to showcase the culture and approach of agency BGB, have some similarities with the brief for this project.

Likeminds

These clips, shot for NYC Retailer Likeminds were a fun way to bring motion to showcasing products. Perhaps it sparks an inspiration for how the furniture this brand creates can be captured

Nordstrom

This series that I directed for Nordstrom shares elements in common with the video that you described in the brief.

About Me

I studied journalism at the University of Colorado, and after graduating I moved to New York where I got started working as a photo assistant. Today I shoot for publications like the New York Times and brands like Cadillac, YouTube, Google, and Adidas.

I LIVE WITH MY WIFE AND Seven-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER IN Cold Spring, New York. When I'm not hanging with the family I can be found scouring used book shops for the next addition to my photo book collection, or on a surfboard at Rockaway beach.
