Choosing who we shoot is the foundation of this project, and I’m excited to understand that you’ve already kicked off things with the search for the right subjects.
As we narrow down our favorites for casting, we can arrange for a video chat session with our potential subjects.
We’ll be looking for their comfort in front of the camera. Their ability to authentically engage with their work, even with an audience present.
My Approach
One of my favorite things about photography is its collaborative nature. I love working with a brand and creative team to discover how their message can be translated through my lens.
I’ll be excited to collaborate with Mags + Marrelli and Catalyte to dive even deeper into the DNA of the Catalyte, the goals and direction you have for the future of the brand.
Those are all elements that will play a roll in the creative approach for this shoot, and it’s something I’m excited to discuss more in depth..
About Me
I studied journalism at the University of Colorado, and after graduating I moved to New York where I got started working as a photo assistant. Today I shoot for publications like the New York Times and brands like Cadillac, YouTube, Google, and Adidas.
I LIVE WITH MY WIFE AND SIX-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER IN Bed-stuy, Brooklyn. When I'm not hanging with the family I can be found scouring used book shops for the next addition to my photo book collection, or on a surfboard at Rockaway beach.
