I love the concept for this project, and I’m very excited to talk more about it.

In particular, 2 elements seem so much up my alley for this campaign: Shooting less conventional models, and the integrated media element.

I love casting and shooting with models that fall outside the norm for beauty photography, and I love seeing how this project leans into that (indeed, in the creative deck, I noticed some talent that I’ve shot with before 😆)

Not only will the casting for the campaign be unique, but also the approach allows us to capture our talent in unique ways. I love how this sets us up to create a pattern breaking, unique campaign.

In addition, I’m excited about the integrated element of this campaign. Capturing still and moving imagery for cross platform campaigns is a big part of what I do, and I’ll be excited to talk more about the creative approach and brainstorm on ways we can really make this campaign sing on every platform.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at my work and to consider me for this project. I’m excited to talk more as the elements of this shoot come together 🙌.

ABOUT ME

I studied journalism at the University of Colorado, and after graduating I moved to New York where I got started working as a photo assistant. Today I shoot for publications like the New York Times and brands like L’Oreal, Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s.

I live with my wife and six year old daughter in Bed-stuy, Brooklyn. When I'm not hanging with the family I can be found scouring used book shops for the next addition to my photo book collection, or on a surfboard at Rockaway beach.
